BUSINESS ETHICS PRINCIPLES THET SOSİAD MEMBERS WILL ABIDE

The Association members;
Agree and undertake to act in conformance to the following principles before the country and the public, the work place, the persons, private sector and public organizations it works with and its employees.


1- HONESTY

The members of our association adhere to self respect, honesty and high ethical rules, to not take part in any unlawful action, do not support and do not overlook unlawful actions. They do not enter into bribery for profits or interest. They do not accept unjust interest offers and any offers for unjust interest for others, to not mediate, do not as for mediation and reject such offers made to them. They act and behave in high ethics.

2- RELIABILITY

They do not engage in behavior and acts that damages the trust and esteem felt for them and their companies. They near the responsibility of their products and services, they do not refrain from fulfilling the necessities of their obligations to the consumer.

3- KEEPING ONE’S WORD

They take care to fulfill the promises they make. Meet the debts they undertake in a timely and complete manner.

4- LOYALTY

They do not attempt to obtain information through unlawful means. They do not use the private information they possess by way of their work for their own benefit. They care for the company confidentiality; even though they have separated from the company or their partners they do not use the private information of their old company for their benefit. They ensure that the personal information regarding their employees is kept secure and confidential.

5- JUST DEALING and PROTECTING OTHER’S RIGHTS

In their relations with their employees they provide honest environment with just management, equality and respect and trust for the personality and do not force people to conduct unlawful acts. They do not differentiate in their employee race, color, sex, religion, political views, philosophical beliefs and religious sect regarding employee rights.

6- BEING RESPECTFUL AND SENSITIVE TO LAWS

The members respect the legal regulations of our country and the countries they do business in and abide by the laws. They do not enter unlawful action or take part in offence. They do not resort to ways and methods that the business and public ethics do not approve.

7- TO SEEK THE BEST

They contribute to positive influence on the environment and local economies, prevention of wasting of country’s resources and enriching the country by the decisions they make.

8- TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR DEEDS

They do not depart form the openness basic principle in the agreement discussions they carry out. The keep the transparency principle at the forefront in the agreements made with the public and private enterprises and are accountable for all kinds of activities.

9- VOCATIONA and PUBLIC EDUCATION

The members place importance on education to increase the potentials of their own employees and the individuals of the public, to be participating and sharing in their sectors and contribute to the new generations, take care to participate in the work carried out in this area. They transfer their know-how and experience to younger generations and encourage them in participating.

10- ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

They provide all kinds of sacrifices for the protection of the environment. They work for the environmental awareness to spread and be adopted.

11- RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP

They pay their taxes in a timely manner. They meet the necessities of public responsibility.

12- MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY

They do not behave and conduct unjustly on the association before the public opinion. They cannot act or carry our transactions that are against the association statutes or that damage the association’s honor.

13- BUSINESS RELATIONS

Members of the association do not aspire for the representations, distributorships, dealerships of the members within trading rules and do not make them offers, reject coming proposals and decided by conferring with it’s member.

14- CUSTOMER RELATIONS

The members of the association work in a layered structure relative to each other do not enter unjust competition. Do not speak of or imply in a manner as to damage the honor of, offend, and belittle the association members in front of its customers.

15- The members of the association are obliged to inform the association of customers who embezzles in the market, do not meet their payment dates or successively fail to keep their promises.

16-  The members of the association promise to abide by the 15th article above on their honor and practices that rule.

Persons to become members to the association are obliged to sign these ethical principles together with the acceptance of the statutes.
